Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation, in partnership with the Town of Los Gatos, provides a comprehensive Senior Services program available to all Los Gatos residents age 55 and over.  The Senior Services Program is housed in the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, located at 208 East Main Street.

The 55 Plus Program:

The LGS Recreation 55 Plus Program is dedicated to ensuring access to recreational, educational, and wellness opportunities for adults age 55 & better throughout Los Gatos, Saratoga and surrounding areas. Our goal is to provide a sense of belonging and encourage older adults to treat 55 Plus as an opportunity to re-invent themselves, gain fresh perspectives, make new friends and enjoy more adventures. This can all be done by taking the leap and joining one of our many groups and programs.

The 55 Plus Activity Groups &  Programs – Register in Class

The following special activity groups meet at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main Street.  We invite you to join us! The groups are Free for 55 Plus Members. Guests, $5 recommended donation. We invite you to join us! Register in class unless otherwise specified. Please come by the 55 Plus Drop In Office for more information. Open M-F, 9AM-Noon, Call 408-354-1514. We would love to meet you and show you around our center.

Wednesday Table Games and More
Every Wednesday from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM in the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center- Large Hall (208 E. Main Street), provides a friendly social atmosphere where participants can work on their game-playing skills while having a lot of fun.  $5 suggested donation. Please call (650) 747-0605 to arrange for a table.  Stay afterwards and join us for lunch  (a $3.00 donation for lunch is recommended).  Lynnette Vega lahondalynnette@earthlink.com

2nd Friday Variety Show Happy Hour
Come for the fun of it! The second Friday of every month, 4:30-6:00PM, there is a variety show, happy hour with light refreshments and door prizes. Future acts will include The Dick McConville Band, ‘NAME THAT TUNE’ Game Show, Acoustic Beatles, Belly Dancing, Sizzling Seniors, The Skillet Likkers and more. Recommended $5 donation at the door.

The Mountain Area 55 Plus Program

1st & 3rd Monday of each month from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM Loma Prieta Community Center- C.T. English School on Summit Road in Los Gatos.Please join us. Live Oak Senior Nutrition and Service Center

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday lunch is served from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Los Gatos Methodist Church, 111 Church Street, next to Los Gatos High School.  Hot nutritionally balanced meals are served to adults over 60 in a relaxed, supportive environment. Also, join them for free entertainment and educational programs. Wednesdays at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center Large Hall, 208 E. Main Street, come and socialize and have a great meal with friends at 11:00 AM.  A $3.00 donation is recommended.  There is a choice of salads, sandwiches or hot entrée daily. Transportation is available for the local Los Gatos area. Menus available at the LG Adult Center lobby.
