PARENT COOPERATIVE NURSERY SCHOOLS

Over the years, the Los Gatos-Saratoga High School District's Adult Education Division has maintained a program of parent education with four independent nursery schools. Parent's curriculum includes a study of preschool children at various levels of growth and development, foundations of mental health, and preparation for school. School year preschool and summer sessions are available.

Our preschools offer balanced, developmentally appropriate curriculums led by credentialed teachers. Young children learn best through hands on play in a stimulating and nurturing environment. Program activities include circle and story time, dramatic play, music and movement, arts and crafts, cooking, science, gardening, outdoor play and exploration, and field trips. Children, aged 2 to 5 years, may attend 1-4 classes per week depending on their age.(Times and days will vary from school to school) Scholarships are available.
