World Of Discovery Preschool (WOD)

Enrolls children on an ongoing basis depending on availability. WOD is licensed through Social Services and is not a parent cooperative nursery school. We offer programs where children are encouraged to actively explore, manipulate materials, and use their imaginations through play and age appropriate curriculum. Activities include arts and crafts, circle and story time, music and movement, cooking, gardening and outdoor play. We are proud to participant in a unique "High School Buddy" program, a part of Saratoga High School's college preparation Child Psychology course. Parents provide their children with a healthy snack and drink each day, a change of clothes, and diapers and wipes if necessary. A completed 'Required Licensing Forms Packet', which includes a doctor's signature as proof of current immunizations, is required on or before the first day of class.

DAYS AND RATES FOR OUR 2011-12 SCHOOL YEAR: Fees are billed over a 10 month cycle, Sept.-June. No pro-rating. A $25 materials fee is collected twice a year to cover the cost of class supplies. Registration is being taken for the 2011-2012 school year. First day of preschool is 8/22/2011.

LOCATION: Saratoga High School campus, 20300 Herriman Ave., Saratoga, in the building adjacent to the McAfee Performing Arts and Lecture Center. Look for the purple gate and World of Discovery logo painted on the door.

OPTION I: T/TH Mornings - 2 days a week: $260 mo. Sept.-June, 10 month cycle Hours: 8:45-11:45AMAGE GROUPS: 2.6-3.6 yrs. OR 3.6 yrs.-6 yrs. (Potty Training required for 3.6-6 yr. age group)

OPTION II: Day for age 3.6 yrs.-6 yrs., 7:30AM-4:30PM.  Option for M-F, T/Th or M/W/F. 
AGE GROUP:3.6yrs.-6 yrs. (Potty Training required for 3.6-6 yr. age group)–Sept.-June, 10 month cycle
-M-F Extended Day- 5 days a week (9 hours a day/183 school days): $1153 mo.
-M/W/F Extended Day - 3 days a week, $750mo.
-T/Th Extended Day - 2 days a week, $500 mo.

OPTION III: M/W/F Mornings – 3 days a week: $345 mo. Sept.-June, 10 month cycle
