2024 SUMMER FUN ACADEMY

Get ready for a Summer of Fun while learning and playing from one of the best summer programs in the Bay Area! Different from the traditional summer school. LGS Recreation’s fee-based Summer Fun Academy is open to all student’s 1st-8th grade. The program provides students the opportunity to strengthen their academics and to get outside and play during the summer months through a wide range of challenging, engaging, and fun programs!

Tracks have been designed to provide a variety of experiences for all students. Individual class periods are not interchangeable and registration is for the full 4-part track. This is to the benefit of all children and class periods may not be prorated or exchanged.

Additional Camp Information:

LUNCH & SNACKS: A snack and water bottle should be brought each day to camp. Students attending Afternoon Camp should bring a bag lunch as well.
LATE PICK-UP FEE: A $25 charge will be incurred in increments of 15 minutes for each camper at the conclusion of camp.

TEACHER ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Calling High School Students ages 15-18! Make a difference this Summer by volunteering as an SFA Teaching Assistant. Join us for one or both of the full sessions as you work alongside teachers in the classroom and with students as they transition throughout the day.

CANCELLATION FEES: Summer Fun Academy-$75 / Summer Fun Academy Afternoon Camp-$50

CLASS TRANSFERS: There is a $15 transfer fee per track after registration has been submitted

REFUND REQUEST: All refund requests can be made by visiting our refund policy page https://www.lgsrecreation.org/refund-policy/

REFUND REQUEST DEADLINE: Refund requests for, Summer Fun Academy and Summer Fun Academy After Care must be made by 5:00 PM May 15th for Session 1 or June 12th for Session 2. No refunds will be issued after this date.
