About The Club

The LGSR Pickleball Club is built on more than just courts and equipment. It creates a welcoming community where players of all skill levels can learn, grow, and connect. Our club offers a full mix of structured programming, including league play, instructional classes, drill sessions, and organized registered open-play opportunities designed to keep play fair, coordinated, and enjoyable for everyone. We focus on maintaining a positive, well-run environment with clear expectations, supportive instruction, and consistent, high-quality programming. Just as important, we strive to be responsible stewards of our facilities by respecting the courts, caring for shared equipment, and ensuring our spaces remain safe, clean, and considerate of neighbors. Whether you’re brand new to the game or looking to sharpen your competitive edge, come learn more about our club and be part of a community that plays together, improves together, and takes pride in the facilities we share.

Options If You’re Not Joining the Pickleball Club

1. Register for Classes and Leagues. You don’t have to join the Pickleball Club to participate. Non-members can sign up for any leagues or classes they desire. Just note that non-members do not receive member discounts or early enrollment perks.

2. Reserve Court Space on Your Own
If you prefer to skip club membership and LGSR programming altogether, you may reserve available court space as an individual.
LGSR programs (leagues, classes, open plays) always receive priority in the schedule. Once our program calendar is finalized, remaining court time becomes available for public reservation through our website.

3. Play During Public Open Court Hours
When courts are not being used for LGSR programs or individual reservations, they are open for free public play.
We post court schedules at El Quito Park, but they may shift due to demand and other scheduling needs.
At this time, La Rinconada has no LGSR programs and no individual reservations and remains fully open to the public during operating hours. LGSR programming is expected to return to La Rinconada in mid-2026.

Adult Pickleball Leagues

Welcome to the Adult Pickleball League Program. Grab your paddle and prepare to make at least three questionable shots you’ll blame on the wind.

League Format

Leagues typically meet once a week at the same time and location. Participants govern themselves during matches and report scores online.

League Offerings

New-Hybrid Ladder Leagues-Players register and compete individually. Players are randomly assigned to a different doubles team every week.

Round Robin Leagues (individual registration with the option to note team preferences)-Teams aim for a balanced roster of 2 women and 2 men, creating a dynamic lineup of 4–6 players.
Beginner Leagues-For the first 2–3 meetings, instructors will be onsite to help with gameplay and keep things running smoothly.

Team Structure

Teams aim for a balanced roster of 2 women and 2 men, creating a dynamic lineup of 4–6 players. Realistically, we get more female players, so teams may flex a bit.

League Locations

La Rinconada Park (Once it reopens)
El Quito Park
Redwood Middle School
Fisher Middle School

Registration Options

Players register individually.
Join as a free agent
Request a specific team (Round Robin only)
Team placement is based on registration data, requests, and league organization. If you don’t list preferences during registration, we can’t guarantee placement later. Not everyone who registers will be accepted.

Acceptance Priority

Full teams
Partial teams (2–3 players)
Individuals with no requests

Once a division fills, acceptance or decline notifications will be sent.

Waitlist

If the league is full, add yourself to the waitlist. With multiple time slots, we usually find ways to fit additional players in without sacrificing anyone to the pickleball gods.

UPCOMING CLASSES

Classes are typically 5-week clinics operating once a week at the same time and location. A Typical class has a 1:8 instructor to participant ratio and runs on two courts at once, so no player is forced to stand on the sidelines. We have many seasoned Pickleball Instructors on our staff ready to help you improve.
